Funding: Healthy Heart Grants
Heart Research UK www.heartresearch.org.uk/ is offering grants of up to £10,000 to community groups, voluntary organisations and researchers who are spreading the healthy heart message. Applicants for the current round must be made in January or February 2009.

we are a charity and run an arts and crafts workshop, with a seperate carpentry workshop. Our application for funding would be for use of the community bus to take our clients out together to visit local places of interest, this generaly would include a fair amount of walking, which links in with the healthy heart program
