South West Forum has secured a development grant from the Big Lottery Fund’s research programme to enable them to work up a fully costed and detailed research proposal to be submitted to the Fund’s main Research programme in May 2009. “Economic impact of third sector social action in the South West Developing collaboration between the third sector and higher education.” South West Forum need a suitable experienced consultant (or consultants) to assist in undertaking the development project and preparing the full research proposal. The selected consultant(s) must be flexible and able to work closely with the South West Forum Chief Executive and other staff in undertaking this project. SWF want the selected consultant to start work on the project as soon as possible after appointment. The timing of delivery of outputs will be agreed with the selected consultant but it should be noted that February, March and April 2009 will be the months of most intensive activity. The total budget for this consultancy is £6,000 inclusive of VAT (if applicable).
