  • Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority are offering free internet access for communities and land managers who want to find out more about funding opportunities under the Scotland Rural Development Programme (SRDP). The SRDP is a £1.6 billion programme of economic, environmental and social measures designed to develop rural Scotland over the period 2007-2013. It includes Rural Priorities and the LEADER initiative. As many rural communities do not have a good broadband connection, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority are providing assistance to those that need a faster broadband connection to the SRDP website. Two PCs with internet access are available to use at Carrochan, the Park headquarters in Balloch, and there will also be access to PCs in the Callander office by arrangement.
